Andy Fuller and I met at Aberdeen University in the late eighties. Andy was driving a brown Ford Cortina and I had a gold (mustard) Datsun Cherry. After several turbulent years, involving some alcohol, lots of friends and Ladas, Renaults and Opel Mantas, Andy graduated with a degree in Music and I with one in English and History of Art. Andy moved back to Surrey and teaches piano in the Godalming area and last time I checked, drove a black BMW 318i. I moved to Berlin in 1991 and teach English and work as a translator. I drive a red Toyota MR2, a graffitied Trabant and own several other rather nice cars and motorbikes.
